Good afternoon
I represent the existing Single Unit Hotel Esmoriz, could not help but read this text with a description of the city of Esmoriz here and let the following comment, Esmoriz has a 3 star hotel with facilities for four stars, according to the opinion of our clients is the best unit in the region including Hospitality Fair, Ovar, Thorn etc., like with this comment put some people responsible for promoting our city, including who published this article about the City of Esmoriz and that did not include any reference to our unit only to the campsite to think about it. I feel that this unit for Hotel Esmoriz population is very uncomfortable, not knowing why, we hear rumors through the mouths of this population that the Hotel has closed, others open will close Bankruptcy etc. .... by that I mean that much is said and little is done in this city, all that we can bring tourists to this small town with a great effort of myself and my collaborators via Tour Operators etc.. ask, "What have Esmoriz to see?" A response which we have great difficulties in responding as you can imagine, we recommend the beach and from there indicate other sights neighbors ... It pains me to see people checking in and saying that they asked some people from our city by Hotel La Fontaine and the answers are: "Do not know, do not have Esmoriz Hotel", is the population of Esmoriz exist can not see that what is good for a unit Esmoriz Hotel? Sorry these words ironic, but I am very discouraged with our City, beginning with people who manage it (Parish of Esmoriz / City of Ovar) and much of the population. I think that the rulers of this city could look at us with more pride and try to help us in small things such as better illuminate the area of the hotel, where cars of Travellers have been constantly vandalized, there are some foci in front of the Hotel Unit that were placed because of the Plaza de Esmoriz, I ask would be very expensive lighting only two in front of the Hotel? Will 13.000.00Euros (Thirteen Thousand Euros) that Unity Hall Hotel will give Ovar Municipal tax year is not enough to pay for the lighting of these two foci? Gentlemen Municipal Tax already paid since we opened nearly 78.000.00Euros (Seventy Eight Thousand Euros) is still not enough for effective redevelopment of the space in front of the Hotel which is a shame. I think that this tax would serve to at least are required to pay such payment and the reason is to improve the street where we operate. I pity this city being as it is now and say if you could move this unit to another board even if it was poorer than ours I am sure we would be most helped and recognized.

I fully agree, this city (with very small font) has much to grow, and its population is still much more to grow in mind. Too bad, but here is what there is, and you can not much more.
By the way I take to publicize the school building, next to the school from the beach, has serious problems of infiltration, and beyond, and that the owner refuses to fix under warranty. Do not think about buying, not worth visiting. Note also on the facade facing the street that is peeling, and has only three years.

Esmoriz to where you walk?
New Executive Board of parish electoral promises made and nothing you are doing by neighborhood.
Increasingly, the road network will be degraded, as well as maintaining open spaces, which is only made where the procession passes, or even not at all.
On 16.05.2010 many children of the parishes of Esmoriz and Maceda, made in the Chapel of the Chrism Gondezende and to the dismay of many present, the green spaces surrounding the same, were completely neglected maintenance, weeds growing around the side.
Even that day, prepared those places, doing some maintenance to receive the actual ceremony, attended by the Bishop of Porto.
I also speak again, the river banks Lambo, which are already out of control vegetation, some years ago when the work was done, the scenery was magnificent, with the placement of stone on these shores.
At this point you do not see a stone that is.
Is spent tens of thousands of Euros for nothing.
The disappointment continues ........

Personally, I like the name of the hotel Esmoriz, because it makes me remember the school I attended in France with the same name, or words, (École Jean de la Fontaine).
The name is very attractive and the only visit that you did, I found that has a nice infrastructure.
Esmoriz need such equipment in the City.
Congratulations on the project.

Good morning Mr. Jorge saints,
I want to thank our positive assessment of the Hotel Unit, the name of the hotel really is French, because investors are Esmoriz Portuguese, but they were many years in France, I agree that Esmoriz need this equipment, but investors also a precision that distinguishes Esmoriz what have happened, Esmoriz is stopped in time for many years, they have nothing new. Still talk of the countryside, I was spending a weekend Covilhã which is an inner city where I attended the University and I can assure you that city in two years that there would not have done more things in 10 or Duke Esmoriz 15. And I assure you that the quality of life is far superior to the alias Esmoriz Esmoriz found a person who was also in Covilhã take its course there, but again Esmoriz, bought there home and work there telling me that this city will offered better quality of life that Esmoriz and was growing very, you could list many things that they did in two years but it is much the same, one thing is one of the biggest gaps are Esmoriz parks / gardens, they had 2 in 2 years and have two more by entering them in a pool with waves, a panoramic lift to descend a hill at no cost to its users among other things. I pity Esmoriz be losing their young people as was the case this person esmorizense found that there must be many more.
Greetings to all who visit and participate in this portal.

Good morning Sr.Óscar
I agree perfectly with the Lord, Esmoriz stopped in time and see no way to evolve in the future.
I am sad to see people responsible for the parish, do nothing.
The previous government was heavily criticized for doing nothing, but this follows the same path.
The road network is poor.
The market should be relocated because it no longer provides minimum requirements for sight-seeing, or is, should submit the same to a more open area, with decent toilets and facilities for their butchers and fishmongers.
Could take advantage of the current space to make a park with gardens, to our elderly and equipment for children.
They should also have a concern, the cleanup of the River Lambo between Avenida da Praia Avenue and Raimundo Rodrigues, which is a shame.
Anyway, I could list a lot.
But I will be attentive to everything that goes on in this City.
I hope this Portal, is a matter of interactivity towards Esmoriz and that pesoas tell your Justice.
Greetings

Glad to see Esmorizenses to interact with this portal, for the same purpose it is to gather news of interest to Esmoriz and its inhabitants while allowing esmorizenses issue their opinions on various topics of interest to the city.
June 22nd, 2010 at 21:38
Good Afternoon,
I begin by congratulating the creation of this portal, where Esmorizenses can give different views on the city.
I come to show my joy for having a young President of the Board, I do not remember, since I live in this city, we have a woman in this position. Not wanting to appear feminist, finally, we will have a management with some sensitivity and contemplation. Well, I think they are two essential attributes to be able to look after the interests of Esmorizenses.
Greetings

Thanks for your comment, Rosa Alves,
I hope that more and more Esmorizenses participating in blog and can be a place to give their opinion on various topics related to the city.
June 23rd, 2010 at 10:24
Anyway, for the same esmoriz where you walk?
Neither public transport and we are already called the city ....
It seems that this "town" just live from the beach. Only have a few luxury condos near the beach, which, to my knowledge, the parish council tries to please more than the local population. This revolt me deeply. Help those who have no ... These gentlemen of the village pine daberta and their children already have too much and neither are local people do not know why so much "graxinha." but who knows, may bring something up that said city pa, besides of course, to fill the mania of superiority when they are here.
I am a citizen of this city with the population rebelled and leaders
June 23rd, 2010 at 11:48
Few green spaces and no maintenance.
They approach the commemoration of the days of the City and oddly enough, the few green spaces we have, still without maintenance.
Enumerate a few: Av.da flowerbeds along the beach, Intermarché roundabout, Riverbank Lambo, etc .....
Pavements and sidewalks degraded.
With all due respect to the ladies, that we have a woman as president of the Board, nothing has changed.
Believe that bet on his team, but I am disappointed.
Bet the same in his electoral campaign was essentially Esmoriz become more beautiful, but it does not.
Anyway disillusionment continues ...........

Good afternoon Mr. Jorge Santos,
On the view that the market did, agree very well with things in determined time periods, relamente conditions are not the best and I think moving to another space would benefit the seller, because it had room to grow, however I would like to make it clear that Esmorizenses think the Department of Hospitality Unit wants to see the market out there is wrong, because to me until the market has good points, our customers like to attend the Market, and the negatives that can consult on several websites selling online rooms, the views of people who were here from Friday to Saturday only one step to transcribe them: "Wake the mandatory six hours to mount the show in front of the hotel" / "and toilet rooms spacious and comfortable, quiet rooms at the back, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, cleanliness of rooms and hotel in general, availability of swimming pool and fitness center.
- The car parking area should be, flat and marked. "
These are some reviews of our guests just transcribed one of the websites selling Online.
The Market for me does not bother me however our guests taking part being awakened at 5/6 H, for the sellers do not respect where they are, begin to take the irons into the vans to the ground at 5 am , but that's a matter of education, another situation that bothers me is clutter in the parking lot in front of the Hotel and the lack of respect from people, we we perform shuttle service from Hotel to Airport with a van that is in the hotel gragem a beautiful Saturday demanhã blocked access to the garage after being taking more than 30 minutes waiting, I had to call a taxi and pay about 40.00 Eur to bring the Host to the airport, I preferred to spend that money to pay the doque Flight and Stay disorders caused, now tell me if this is normal this weekend with much cost and labor could bring a group of 90 people on our "city", guess what happened on Saturday demanhã? I was careful to ask the driver on Friday night to park the bus at the end of the front parking along the road facing north so as to come out ahead without problems .... think they said anything? cars parked on both sides of the bus, in front, back, the man could not leave was over 45 min to get out, know that these groups come with everything programmed, set schedule of visits, know what was the outcome? the organizer loved the hotel, very good conditions were fine but that was disseme cumplicado demanhá out on Saturday and had to cancel visista Ace of port wine cellars because of the delay .... Now tell me? what did I do to deserve this land these treatments?? maybe it was a company that never come to the weekend for our Hospitality Unit, for our "City." So guess I will back whoever parked the bus has a huge lack of respect .... does not ... I think I could be more organized and if so everyone would go out to win ... so we left all to lose .....
Greetings to all ....

Good Night,
I have to agree with Mr. Jorge Santos, our town is turning into big blocks of bricks, leaving behind the green spaces essential to our survival and well being.
Well, whenever I leave this town, I noticed that the green spaces accompanying the growth of any city I visit. Even if it is, the beautiful gardens that are at the center of roundabouts.

Good Night,
I can not stop talking about "a society in which its members are indifferent to questions of life in common, does not exist as such."
I see every day, that there is a constant lack of citizenship in our society. As described in Mr. Oscar, the parking of vehicles on market days, blocking bus, regardless of whether the driver of this bus has set schedule or blocking the exit of the garage, the guest has almost lost the time of flight required in the wake of the guests at 5 o'clock in the morning.
"Among the duties of any citizen, who has given a citizenship is a duty to participate in the life of their community by contributing all the means at its disposal to maintain and improve. This duty is both a right to participate in decisions affecting the community as a whole. "

Good night
As for the parking of vehicles on the day of weekly market in the area surrounding the hotel, local authorities should be aware of the violations of the space in front of the Hotel.
Transmits who visit us, a disruption of planning in that area.
The terms of education and good citizenship, no selfish interest people.
Wherefore should put to delimit the area, some balls cement sinkers on the ground, not to violate this space and ultimately, they can notify the police of offenses that could result from there, if they occupy that space without permission.

Good afternoon,
I come to give my congratulations for the preparation of the guide of our city.
But, several people showed an interest in visiting the pond which is on city map of Esmoriz within the guide.
With regret that I inform you that access is not easy, but that could have a look for the beach area.

Hello, not wanting to diminish the importance of esmoriz, I regret to inform you that the progress bar esmoriz not exist, at least in historical terms, but the pond we stopped, how can they prove the thesis of Father Manuel, a book very easy to find.
Now changing the subject, I would like to know the history of the Palace of chestnut, based in esmoriz, as well as the history of their owners, since I am a descendant of the last owner of this beautiful home. my email and epinorte@hotmail.com .

Good Morning Mr. George,
The Palace of Chestnuts, known as the "Godfather of House Manel".
Old School where I concluded my 7 and 8 Year having hundreds of good and unforgettable memories of this place.
I can tell, according to my grandmother, that this house around 1927, belonged to Mr. Adams, who had a child doctor. Having been sold later to the "Godfather Manel" and given to the same Town.

I do not agree with George, Barry of Esmoriz is already very old, my father has a very old dictionary, qie already belonged to my grandfather and when I researched the word small bar, there was "little bar-Esmoriz name given in a small pond ". è a dictionary editor of Porto, which shows the importance of this name, there are many ponds but there is only our small bar, who want to destroy the waste from neighboring councils.

Good evening,
Some time that this site is still a bit in terms of reviews here goes a few reviews of a website selling online deals on our City:
POSITIVE: This is a nice hotel with helpful staff and very friendly. Importantly attention / care of the receptionists. It is good to find competent professionals! The room where we were staying (double) was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the pool area, which pleased us. The bed was great ... The breakfast was very good, meet the style requirements of 'Continental'.
This was our first visit to Esmoriz. Access to the "La Fontaine" are mediocre. The chamber and its coupling Esmoriz should be more careful with the road. The tours are in a position almost a utopia ...
A Good Year to all visitors ....

Good Afternoon,
After a brief analysis of these comments, I have been asking me if the "Tax On Real Estate" received every month by the Board of all owners of Properties in Esmoriz, is not sufficient to improve the roads, sidewalks and lighting in the existing our city.
Well, taking into account that only pays about Hotel 1200.00 Euros per month, then you should get thousands of euros per year.

Here I am, my dear! That's why we recently launched a survey on what is needed in Esmoriz on my blog! In fact, my land has been an authentic "apathy" in the last 25 years. It's time to get someone to do something to put us on the path of evolution.
Jorge speaks of "We stopped pond" and to accept that opinion, but you can also speak to Barry Esmoriz because the pond now, in historical terms, even in front of Mar's Bar which obviously belongs to our land. And we must not forget that Barry is not only the pond but also its environment, and a good part of it lies in our town!
